舊流浮山警署歷史
舊流浮山警署（FLFSPS）是一座典型的現代實用主義建築，建於1950年代，曾經作為警察部隊的前哨和行動基地，並運作至2002年。該址自1980年代起增設氣象觀測設施，兼具多重功能。

History of the Former Lau Fau Shan Police Station
The Former Lau Fau Shan Police Station (FLFSPS) is a typical modern utilitarian building, constructed in the 1950s, that served as an outpost and operational base for the police force until 2002. Since the 1980s, the site has housed meteorological observation facilities, serving multiple functions.
Situated atop a hill, the site holds significant defensive and security value. In December 1951, the Royal Air Force was granted permission to construct a 10-foot-high radar station with sturdy hardwood construction on the roof of the police post. Police constables utilised the radar station to observe the coastline and bay, with a police searchlight installed at the top for uninterrupted area scanning. This work was approved in 1952, with a grant of £15,200 allocated for the radar station construction and searchlight modification, highlighting the site's strategic importance in coastal defence.
To bolster policing efforts around Deep Bay, in August 1960, the Colonial Secretary approved the accommodation schedule for (a) Lau Fau Shan Sub-Divisional Police Station; (b) Pak Nai Police Post; (c) Tsim Bei Tsui (formerly Sha Kiu) Police Post; and (d) Temporary Police Post at Tsim Bei Tsui, subject to potential variations. In 1963, the FLFSPS Police Station, capable of housing approximately 50 individuals, was completed to complement the Pak Nai and Tsim Bei Tsui police posts, forming a comprehensive security network during that period.
